Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is one of the world's leading manufacturers of investment castings and precision sand castings for the aerospace, defense, and gas power generation markets. The company produces complex superalloy, titanium, aluminum, magnesium, and steel castings for a variety of commercial and military aircraft, weapons systems, commercial and regional/business jets, helicopters, and industrial gas turbines. CPP products are integral to the performance of leading commercial and military aircraft, weapons systems, turbines, submarines, and more.

Originally founded in 1991, CPP quickly expanded its capabilities over its first two decades through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions, including key facilities in California, Minnesota, and Massachusetts. 

In 2011, CPP entered a new phase of growth through the acquisition by Warburg Pincus, a leading private equity firm. This marked the beginning of an accelerated transformation and expansion.

Warburg Pincus LLC acquires CPP

Warburg Pincus LLC, a leading private equity firm, acquires Consolidated Precision Products and starts an accelerated transformation and expansion of the company.


2012
CPP acquires ESCO Turbine Technologies Group (TTG)

Acquisition of TTG adds proven capabilities in complex superalloy castings for aerospace and industrial gas turbine engines. Casting facilities include Eastlake, Ohio; Chittenango, New York; Guaymas, Mexico; Liege, Belgium; and Povazska Bystrica, Slovakia.


2016
CPP acquires Poland casting facilities

Two casting facilities in Rzeszow, Poland, add proven directional solidification and single crystal capabilities for highly complex airfoils in the hot section of aerospace engines.


2018
CPP acquires Selmet, Inc.

Acquisition of Selmet completes CPP’s alloy capabilities with the addition of high-growth titanium alloy castings. This expands CPP's presence on next-generation engines.


2019
Berkshire Partners LLC invests in CPP

Berkshire Partners LLC, a private equity firm, invests in Consolidated Precision Products and becomes co-majority owner with Warburg Pincus LLC.


2019
CPP acquires Pacific Cast Technologies, Inc.

Acquisition further enhances CPP’s titanium casting capabilities, increases content on next-generation engines, and adds capacity to meet industry demand for titanium castings.

CPP acquires Poly6 Technologies, Inc.

Acquisition of Poly6 provides CPP with next-generation multi-wall core manufacturing technology, capabilities that will position CPP as the leading captive supplier of multi-wall engine airfoils. 


2020
CPP opens Euclid, Ohio airfoils casting facility

State-of-the-art facility constructed in Euclid, Ohio, to expand capacity for airfoil castings.


2020
CPP expands Guaymas site to provide dedicated airfoil back-end support

Back-end service center opened in Guaymas Building 3 to provide dedicated finishing and inspection services for the Euclid airfoil casting site.


2022
CPP opens Superior Metals master melt facility

Master melt facility constructed in Chittenango, New York, to vertically integrate superalloy melting capability.


2022
CPP opens Guaymas Build 4 for titanium finishing

CPP expands capacity on Guaymas, Mexico, campus to provide dedicated titanium finishing and inspection capacity for expanding titanium business.


2024
CPP acquires Air Power Dynamics, LLC

CPP acquires industry-leading supplier of complex wax patterns for airfoils.


2024
CPP opens in Mazatlán, Mexico campus

CPP Mazatlán campus opened to further expand back-end finishing and inspection capabilities and capacity for the company.
